Purpose and learning goals



For the last 14 years I worked with leaders, managers and executives using various modalities (training, university courses, individual and group coaching, action learning and research projects, etc.). They were all talented and experienced leaders. They all had many success stories and measurable results and achievements. Nonetheless, only 10% of them were truly transformative leaders, who managed to deal well with the changing world, who managed to develop and transform themselves, while developing others and successfully transforming the business. Even they were not perfect and complete. Even they had more space for growth and development.

This short training is for those, who are interested to dig deeper into the topic of leadership to analyze: 

1. What has worked so far, but does not bring anymore the desired results;                       

2. How the current changes in the world impact the way we lead and should lead;

3. What behavioral and cognitive skills and competencies are proven by research and practice to be impactful;

4. How to advance on the adult development stages to become more mature as a person and as a leader;

5. How to see leadership as a contextual discipline and how to decode what is needed in a given context;

6. How to exercise power to empower the employees for more creativity, expertise and accountability;

7. How to unleash the collective intelligence of teams;Etc.

The first two days have clear content, which will shape the focus of the teaching and the topics of the discussions. During the first two days the group members will learn about well proven leadership practices, they will also interact with each other about the presented topics. They will be invited to reflect about their leadership experience, their strengths and their challenges. Through the taught theory and discussions, the participants will gain a much deeper understanding about themselves and about the most impactful leadership competencies. The training will be followed by 3 meetings of group coaching. These meetings will have participant-driven agendas. We will set together the agenda and the focus for each meeting. During the first meeting we will support you to turn your leadership challenges into developmental goals. Thus, the group can harness the power of collective intelligence to support each group member in gaining real benefits from this program and  seeing the real results of it at your work. The participants will reflect about themselves and give transformational and developmental feedback to each other. Every time they walk away with clear ideas about how to manage their business better and how to be better leaders with more powerful impact.

Being at the top means that you already have a lot of knowledge and experience and that you also have a big responsibility. Top leaders often say that their role is quite lonely in the sense, that they do not find enough right people with whom they could have useful thought-provoking conversations, whose experience and expertise could be an excellent addition to their own executive intelligence and with whom they could find new practical ideas and solutions to their challenges. We have now many years of experience in putting together groups of executives, who think together to support themselves and each other in very practical ways, and as a result experience real benefits in their business.

Leda has about 20 years of international work experience in profit and non-profit organizations and academic settings. As a leadership and executive coach, OD consultant and director of boards she has supported many companies in implementing important changes and achieving sustainable business results. She has worked with business and political leaders across continents.

She has also been in various leadership positions in local and global organizations. Between 2011-2013 she co-led the International Coach Federation EMEA Steering Committee, between 2014-2017 she served on the Global Board of the International Coach Federation as vice chair and chair. 

In 2015 she became a partner at the Management Institute of Finland, and from 2017 she has been the Head of the Leadership Module at the ISM Executive School EMBA program, where she is still working with C-suit leaders in individual and group settings.

Leda is a leadership and executive development partner and founder at UAB L-CON Global, a partner trainer at Coaching Development (London) and at the Professional Effectiveness Management Institute (China). 

She sits as an independent member on the Nominating and Remuneration Committee at the Ignitis Group (Lithuania), on the Advisory Board of the BostonExO (USA) and on the Supervisory Board of ICF Hungary.

Leda has conducted research in the field of human resource development and corporate coaching and revealed those factors, which make various types of leadership approaches and coaching interactions effective and sustainable.
